We've recently updated our SEO Ideas tool with a new idea that allows you to compare the word count on your webpages to that of your rivals.
As the name suggests, the new 'Content Length' idea compares the number of words on your webpage to that found on rival pages ranking higher for the same keywords you're targeting. Based on the findings of that comparison, SEO Ideas will suggest that you either increase or decrease the word count on the webpage you're trying to optimize.
There's also a detailed report available for the new idea, you can access it by clicking on the 'Get data behind it' button.
In this report, you can view content length data on your webpage and your top 10 rivals for every targeted keyword. By default, SEO Ideas will display your average rivals' count for each keyword, but if you would like to learn more details, simply click on any of the keywords to see a precise breakdown for each rival separately.
Please re-run your SEO Ideas campaign for the new ideas to be generated.
We hope this update improves your SEO Ideas experience! Please let us know what you think by sharing your comments and suggestions either via email or the built-in UserVoice form.
